  • Sometimes you read the Bible and it feels so far removed from life today. You may think, "What's the point? It doesn't apply."

But people "back then" had the same emotions and feelings we experience. I hope the messages over the next few days from Psalm 107 help you see that Scripture is relevant today too.  - Randall

Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, (Psa 107:4-6,8 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, when circumstances leave me in distress or without family or home, help me not despair, but remember to pray. You can rescue me from distress and restore my life in ways I could not imagine. Help me trust You in everything that concerns my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
